1) Good morning!! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! If you haven't filled the Google Forms information request I've sent you (twice now), make sure you do so. (Here's a fourth time: https://forms.gle/xk5swYfbBWse1yXe7) I've had 41 out 62 kids to fill it out so far. That's not so good. :(
2) Please make sure you're ready to submit a screenshot of your PSAT assignment by this Friday at 11:59 PM. Take a look at this screenshot to help you figure out where to go. Notice the url on the screenshot. Notice that I've selected 'math.' Show me that you've completed all four diagnostic quizzes and send me a screenshot that includes your name. If you have multiple pages, as always, make a single PDF when you submit to Schoology. (This assignment was given weeks ago.) Note: This assignment is VERY important as we'll working FROM this diagnostic tools over the next few years in each of our math classes. I know many of you are done already.
2) For today, we get to review exponential properties before we move onto our full unit on exponential functions. Please download this worksheet titled Review of Exponents and submit by 11:59 tonight.
Tuesday, March 24th
2) Check your answers to the Review of Exponents worksheet. Rework to the answers. Again, this is a review and even if you miss a problem or three, you should be able to figure out how to work to the answers.
3) Try the 6.1C and 7.2C worksheets and submit to Schoology before 11:59PM. These are more challenging and should not be attempted until you've mastered Monday's assignment. I'll post the answers on Wednesday morning. (Remember that x to the one fourth power is equivalent to the fourth root of x.)
Wednesday, March 25th
1) Happy Wednesday! Check the 6.1C answers and 7.2C answers and MAKE SURE you know how to do these.
2) Watch my video on solving Exponential Equations on Schoology.
3) Complete the "It Sure Would Be Nice... Solving Exponential Equations" WS and submit by 11:59PM tonight.
Thursday, March 26th
1) Here are the answers to yesterday's worksheet.
2) We've made it to Thursday, everyone! Woohoo! Log on to see me this morning at 11:00. If you submitted your information to my Google Form link, you'll receive an invite via email. If you're using your phone, you MUST download the Microsoft Teams app from your phone's app store.
3) Watch the Exponential Functions and the Number "e" videos (there are two) on Schoology.
4) Complete the worksheet "Exponential Functions and the Number "e" worksheet and submit to Schoology by 11:59 PM tonight.
Friday, March 27th
1) Check your answers to yesterday's homework.
2) Attempt the Analyzing Exponential Graphs WS. (Important: Use your graphing calculator as an exploration tool.)
